Built to Last is Townsville City Council’s community capacity-building initiative, designed to strengthen not-for-profit organisations, volunteer-led groups and community committees. Through training, resources, networking opportunities and practical support, the program helps community organisations build capability and thrive.

As part of the Built to Last initiative, the Meet the Regulators video series provides community organisations with easy access to information on governance, compliance and good organisational practice. The series connects organisations with regulatory agencies and support services, helping them better understand their responsibilities and access available assistance.
