Circus Oz brings new show to Townsville audiences

Audiences will be taken on a visually and emotionally charged journey by the multi-talented Circus Oz ensemble at the Townsville Civic Theatre this Thursday and Friday, April 20 and 21.
The new show Circus Oz – Model Citizens – seamlessly blends the risk and beauty of breathtaking physical improbability with theatricality, choreography and Circus Oz’s distinct brand of Australian humour.
In Model Citizens, oversized everyday objects are used as unexpected circus equipment that creates an intriguing new playground for the all-human ensemble.
Community and Cultural Development Committee chair Cr Colleen Doyle said council was pleased to present such exciting performances for residents.
“Circus Oz never fails to impress with its stunning shows and the cast’s impressive talent,” Cr Doyle said.
“We’re very excited to have this show come to Townsville for three shows and I encourage everyone to come along.”
