2018 RADF Grant Applications Now Open

Date published: 19 December 2017

The Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) applications for 2018 opened yesterday and run through to Monday 12 February 2018.

The fund, a partnership between Townsville City Council and Queensland Government through Arts Queensland, was created to invest in quality arts and cultural experiences based on local community needs.

RADF Committee chair Councillor Margie Ryder said individuals, groups and organisations were encouraged to apply and grant applications should outline how funding their project would benefit the Townsville community.

“The key aspects we look for in RADF applications are how any funding delivered would boost Townsville’s cultural experiences, improve innovation and build community pride,” Cr Ryder said.

“We assess the applications on the quality, reach, impact and viability of the proposed projects.”

There is one round of funding available for 2018 and applications for between $1000 and $15000 are invited.
