Put a spring in your step these School Holidays

Date published: 6 September 2018

The 2018 Spring Edition School Holiday Guide is packed to the brim full of activities and ideas to keep families and kids of all ages entertained these school holidays.

This annual council publication allows families to find out exactly what’s happening in Townsville during this time and lets families plan their day effectively with maximum enjoyment and family time which means keeping the little ones entertained has never been easier.

Community and Cultural Development Committee chair Cr Colleen Doyle said there was no shortage of things to do within the school holiday guide pages.

“Council has planned a school holiday program to suit a wide variety of interests, with a great selection of both indoor and outdoor activities and to suit all ages,” Cr Doyle said.

“It’s also a great opportunity for Townsville youths to get out and give some new activities a try.”

This guide also features discounted return entry fees to Chipmunks Playland & Café, and cheap Tuesday/Thursday skating at Sk8way Townsville.

The school holiday guide will be available from September 7 at Townsville City Council’s customer service centre on Walker Street, all CityLibraries branches, and various organisations around Townsville.

The Guide is also available for a FREE download, visit www.townsville.qld.gov.au/schoolholidayguide for your copy.
