We’re not kitten around: $50 cats and kittens for adoption at ACAC

Date published: 1 March 2023

Don’t miss the op-paw-tunity to find your new furry best friend for just $50 at Townsville City Council’s Animal Care and Adoption Centre this month.

The blitz sale on cats and kittens will last for all of March and includes all cats and kittens at the Animal Care and Adoption Centre.

Community Health, Safety and Environmental Sustainability Committee chairperson Maurie Soars said the centre ensured all animals were ready to join their new homes.

“This March is National Pet Adoption Month, and what better way to celebrate than by visiting our Animal Care and Adoption Centre to see if there’s a cat or kitten who would make a great addition to your family,” Cr Soars said.

“Council’s teams work hard to make sure each cat and kitten is desexed, wormed, microchipped and have had their first vaccination.

“These animals are ready to settle down into loving homes, which is why I’d encourage anyone interested in adopting to head to our website and see which cats and kittens we have available for adoption.”

Don’t fur-get that this $50 sale ends at the end of March, so call the Animal Care and Adoption Centre on 0457 769 362 if you’re interested in coming out to see if the right claw-some cat or kitten is available for adoption into your home.
