Council is aware of a serious incident involving one of our waste trucks and a member of the public.
Our thoughts are with the family and loved ones of those impacted.
Safety is Council’s number one priority - for our staff, our contractors and for the broader community.
Council is cooperating fully with the investigations currently being undertaken by Queensland Police Service and Workplace Health and Safety Queensland.
Out of respect for those involved and due to the ongoing investigations, Council will not be making further comment at this time.
