Looking for something for the whole family to do on Friday night?

Townsville City Council will present another free Riverway Movie under the stars and raintrees this Friday, July 21.

Bring your picnic rug or camp chairs and enjoy the animated family flick Sing will on the big screen at Riverway Oval at 6.30pm.

Dapper koala Buster Moon presides over a once-grand theatre that has fallen on hard times.

He takes one final chance to restore his fading jewel to its former glory by producing the world’s greatest singing competition.

Five contestants emerge: a mouse, a timid elephant, a pig, a gorilla and a punk-rock porcupine.

To coincide with the screening, the popular Rotary Riverway Moonlight Markets are back and will offer food, drinks and an array of stalls.

The next Riverway Movie will be Moana at 6.30pm on Friday, August 18 at Riverway Oval.

Please note: The Melbourne Ballet production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream will be at the Riverway Arts Centre the same evening, so please consider parking options ahead of time as spaces will be limited.
