Community Council coming to Annandale this week

Community Council is back again this week and coming to Division 6.
Local residents will have the chance to meet with Townsville City Council staff and Councillors in a public forum.
Local Councillor Verena Coombe said she is looking forward to meeting with the residents of Division 6 and sharing some information about projects in the area.
“Community Council is a great forum for local Councillors to meet with residents and to share what is happening in the division and the city,” Cr Coombe said.
“This is a family-friendly meeting and gives everyone the chance to have a productive conversation and provide feedback to their elected representatives.
“These meetings were introduced to improve transparency and it’s great that we have a format that allows us to meet one-on-one with the community and share our plans for the future.”
