Purrfect pet sale on cats and kittens

Your new furry friend is just a whisker away with the Animal Care and Adoption Centre’s cat and kitten sale.

Cats can be adopted for just $50 while kittens are discounted to $100 from now until June 13.

All cats and kittens are desexed, wormed, treated with flea and tick prevention, vet checked, microchipped and up to date with their vaccinations so they’re ready to go home straight away. All animals have also been temperament assessed.

Divisional councillor Paul Jacob said cats made the perfect household companion.

“My wife and I have pet cats, and they bring so much joy and happiness into our lives every day,” Cr Jacob said.

“If you’ve been thinking about bringing a new pet into your home, this is the perfect time to head out to the centre and pick a new pet to adopt.

“It’s important to remember that these animals want to become a permanent part of someone’s family, so take the time to make sure you’re ready for a lifelong commitment of looking after your new pet.”
