Festival of Stories 2022
Festival of Stories 2022 was held at Citylibraries Riverway and select libraries from 16 to 18 June 2022.
It didn't matter if you were into novels, non-fiction or picture books – there was something for you at the three-day festival in 2022 as part of the North Australian Festival of Arts (NAFA) 2022.
The 3-day festival was jam-packed with exciting author talks, workshops, and family activities, featuring: Jonathan Butler, Karen Lee Roberts, Maryrose Cuskelly, Jayne Arlett, Dr Jo Lukins, Debbie Rains, Debra Gavranich, Averil Kenny, Dannika Patterson, Megan Forward, Elizabeth Tynan, Nathan Best, Emma Viskic and Duane Hamacher.
Everybody has a story to tell.

Anzac Day 2026
Join Townsville City Council this Anzac Day, in partnership with the Townsville and Thuringowa RSL sub-branches. Commemorative services and parades will be held at the Thuringowa Cenotaph, Riverway Precinct and Anzac Memorial Park, The Strand
