Christmas artist markets offer unique shopping experience

Shoppers looking for a unique last minute gift idea are sure to find something special at the Christmas Artist Markets at Perc Tucker Regional Gallery on Sunday.
Artworks, prints and ceramics from some of the region’s leading artists will be available to purchase.
There will also be free art activities for children.
Community and Cultural Development Committee chair Cr Colleen Doyle said the markets were a first for Perc Tucker Regional Gallery.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for residents to come into the gallery, meet the artists and purchase a unique gift this Christmas,” Cr Doyle said.
“Buying locally made art is also a great way to support local artists.
“If you haven’t been to Perc Tucker Regional Gallery in a while, it’s also a chance to see what the gallery has to offer and find out about the amazing programs for people of all ages.”
Gallery Services will also have a one-off sale of its exhibition publications.
The Christmas Artist Markets will be held on the ground floor of Perc Tucker Regional Gallery on Sunday, December 11 from 10am to 2pm.
