CBD Flinders Street West water main leak repaired

Townsville City Council and BMD crews have repaired a water main leak on Flinders Street West that disrupted water services to residents and businesses adjacent to Central apartments this afternoon.
The leak occurred whilst testing an old underground valve today.
Water supply has been returned to impacted businesses and residents.
Council had notified the management of buildings in the area and completed the repairs just before 5pm.
The council apologises for the disruption to services.
