Book Clubs

The library catalogue, BorrowBox, Libby, Hoopla, and Townsville Citylibraries App will be temporarily unavailable while we upgrade our library system on Wednesday 22 April 2026.

Thank you for your patience while we work to improve our service - we can’t wait for you to check out our fresh, new look catalogue once the upgrade is complete!

Townsville Citylibraries’ Book Club Collection Service supports community run book clubs by providing free access to over 120 book club sets (multiple copies of the same title) so groups can read and discuss together.

What We Offer to Book Clubs

Townsville Citylibraries supports registered book clubs by providing over 120 book club sets (6–12 copies each), six week loans, easy online bookings, and free meeting rooms. Many titles are also available as eBooks and eAudiobooks.
