Project Overview
Townsville City Council continued its focus on water security with a record $214.9 million invested in critical water infrastructure projects over the 2022/23 financial year.
As part of this major investment the Ingham Road Water Main replacement took place from 31 March 2023 to 27 October 2023. The underground water network across the city required scheduled upgrades, including the replacement of the trunk water mains as they had reached their useful life span.
The water main replacement ensures the continued supply of essential water services to businesses and residents.
