Print, Copy & Wi-Fi
We offer a range of services allowing the community to stay connected at our libraries.
Computer and laptop use requires a Townsville Citylibraries Membership, so we encourage you to sign up ahead of time.
Computer Access
We have a range of computer services available to Townsville Citylibraries members.
Users under the age of 18 must have parental consent before being allowed access computers.
When you log out of a computer, all personal information from your session will be removed from the computer.
Laptops
Choose your perfect spot in the library and enjoy the convenience of borrowing a laptop at any branch with your Townsville Citylibraries membership.
Simply scan your library membership card at the dispenser and interact with the intuitive touchscreen to borrow a laptop for up to two hours.
Users under the age of 18 are unable to borrow laptops from the dispenser.
Please note that laptops may only be used in the library space.
Your personal information from your session will be removed once the laptop is returned.
Printing and Photocopying
Townsville Citylibraries offers printing and photocopying facilities available to the public.
View Fees & Charges. Please note that payment is with cash only, as EFTPOS is not currently available.
Scanning
Townsville Citylibraries offers a free document scanning service that allows you to send files directly to your email or save them to a USB drive. This service is quick, secure, and available at all branches (excluding Mobile Library).
Wireless Printing
Wireless printing is available at all library branches, excluding Mobile Library. You can submit documents to print from your laptop or mobile device. An email address is required to submit and release your print job.

Wi-Fi
Townsville City Council provides Free Wi-Fi access to the public in all Townsville Citylibraries branches, Council buildings and some public areas.
Simply select “MiTownsville” from the list of available networks.
Mother's Day Memorial
Join us at Belgian Gardens Cemetery for a special memorial to remember those close to us that we have lost. The memorial is a free community event and open to all who seek to connect with others to remember their loved ones ahead of Mother's Day.
Anzac Day 2026
Join Townsville City Council this Anzac Day, in partnership with the Townsville and Thuringowa RSL sub-branches. Commemorative services and parades will be held at the Thuringowa Cenotaph, Riverway Precinct and Anzac Memorial Park, The Strand
Garrison - Exhibiting at Pinnacles Gallery
Featuring around 60 artworks by Douglas Green, Tim Page, George Gittoes, Jon Cattapan & more, this exhibition brings together historical & contemporary perspectives on conflict, service & resilience through works from the City of Townsville Art Collection.
