Kerb and Channel Renewal

Following the recent Design Notification Council is now within the final stages of planning to deliver kerb and channel renewal along Emerald Street between Lanark Street and Andrews Court in Kirwan.

This project is part of our annual Roadworks program, which aims to maintain our Council controlled road network to ensure the community’s transportation needs are adequately met and continue to support the growth of our region.

As part of these works Council will:

• construct kerb and channel and concrete pathway
• reconstruct full and partial driveway crossovers.

If you live in or are travelling through the area, you may experience:

• construction machinery and vehicle movement
• increased levels of dust, noise, and vibrations
• temporary traffic changes, including lane closures, minor traffic delays and reduced speed limits.

Council may request residents to relocate their vehicles. Council will notify impacted properties seven days before work begins.
