Entrance Gate and Fence Maintenance

Council is undertaking gate and fencing maintenance, and infrastructure improvement works in a small section of Anzac Memorial Park, The Strand.

This project is part of Council’s ongoing commitment towards infrastructure management, identifying the need for maintenance works that enhance community assets and preserve open spaces in good condition.

As part of this project, Council will:

• removal of damaged gates and fencing and replacing with new infrastructure
• reshaping foliage in line with natural design principles
• replanting of selected plants, enhanced frontage appeal and carrying out associated groundworks
• Council staff will oversee and manage any environmental impacts resulting from these operations.

If you visit or are travelling through the area, you may experience:

• construction machinery and vehicle movement
• increased levels of dust, noise, vibrations and occasional odour
• temporary fencing/barriers securing the works zone.
