Shade Sail Structure Installation
Council is continuing the Riverside Green open space community facility upgrade, with an extension to the existing shade structure above the junior playground.
This project is part of Council’s commitment to providing parks, sporting fields, recreational areas, and inspirational gardens that enhance the health, wellbeing and enjoyment of our community.
As part of this project, Council will install a new shade sail post. A full playground closure will be in place on Monday 30 March 2026.
If you visit in or are travelling through the area, you may experience:
- construction machinery and vehicle movement
- increased levels of dust, noise, and vibrations
- short-term closures of the playground to accommodate construction activities.
