Townsville Citylibraries, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Services offers first nations resources and services to the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander community in Townsville and surrounding areas.
We have Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander books, newspapers – Koori Mail & Torres News, and historical photographs from North Qld.
Citylibraries supports many cultural activities including NAIDOC Week and Reconciliation Week.
Services for First Nations Communities
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture and history with the Norman B Tindale collection and genealogy resources. Participate in major cultural events and book club gatherings.
