Venue Information
We are a multi-purpose air-conditioned sports arena located in the Murray Sports Precinct with versatile facilities to cater for a diverse range of events. The whole venue, individual meeting rooms or court bookings can be made by the general public at the stadium. The stadium has onsite parking for 310 spaces with 6 dedicated handicapped spaces.
The Skybox rooms can be used as corporate entertaining areas for sports events or as individual meeting/ conference rooms. Townsville Stadium has the latest audio visual equipment 65' smart tv's in meeting rooms, portable LCD projectors, HDMI modulation to all tv's in the building, as well as integrated audio throughout the building.
The main arena at Townsville Stadium features an international standard wooden sport floor and tiered retractable seating for feature games. The floor area covers three line marked courts for badminton, basketball, netball, futsal, and volleyball. With retractable netting curtains courts can be separate or divided in half to accommodate multiple users at any one time.
Townsville Stadium doesn't just cater to sports rather it is a multi-purpose built facility. The arena floor can be carpeted for expos, dinners or other showcase events. In addition the stadium has a range of furniture available for events.
Catering/Kiosk
Catering at Townsville Stadiums is provided by Catering by Michel’s.
They can organise everything from basic meetings through to fine dining.
