Pallarenda Foreshore Rectification Works

Council is undertaking clean-up and rectification works along the southern end of the Pallarenda foreshore, between Seaward Crescent and Brazier Park, Pallarenda.

This project is part of Council’s ongoing commitment to environmental management, which has identified the need to restore beach amenity and enhance the resilience of the Pallarenda foreshore.

These works will help stabilise and prepare this site for the sand placement scheduled for later in the year.

As part of this project, Council will:

• remove fallen trees
• remove exposed asphalt
• reposition existing rocks to provide
• short-term support during high tides.

If you live near or are travelling through the area, you may experience:

• construction machinery and vehicle movement
• temporary footpath closures
• increased levels of dust, noise, vibrations and occasional odour.

Please note the following closures will be in place for the duration of the works:

• beach access 15
• carpark at beach access 15
• beach works location.
