Remediation Works

Council is preparing to undertake remediation work of the Castle Hill Walking Tracks.

This project reflects Council’s ongoing commitment to environmental management, highlighting the importance of remediation efforts to restore the walking tracks to a safe condition.

As part of these works, Council will:

• reinforce track edges
• clear vegetation and rocks
• repair damaged surfaces and remove fallen branches and protruding roots.

If you visit or are travelling through the area, you may experience:

• construction machinery and vehicle movement
• increased levels of dust, noise, and vibrations
• minor closures affecting sections of the walking track.

Please be advised that the Castle Hill walking tracks will remain open throughout the works, with only minor sectional closures in place. Only one track will be worked on at a time. Each track will reopen once it is safe to do so.
