What works are coming up?
Council is now in the final stages of planning the delivery of new playground equipment at Belmont Park in Kirwan, aimed at enhancing the park’s functionality and overall amenity.
This initiative reflects Council’s ongoing commitment to providing parks, sporting fields, and recreational spaces that promote the health, wellbeing and enjoyment of our community.
What will the works include?
As part of this project, Council will:
- remove the existing playground, sand surfacing and playground edging
- install new playground equipment, along with new sand softfall, and new playground edging
- undertake site remediation
What does this mean for me?
If you visit in or are travelling through the area, you may experience:
- construction machinery and vehicle movement
- increased levels of dust, noise, and vibrations
- safety fencing, barricades, and pedestrian/traffic management measures
