Hermit Park State School Car Park Roadworks
Council is planning to undertake roadworks within the Hermit Park State School’s car park via McKimmin Road, Hermit Park.
This project is part of our Council’s annual Roadworks program, which aims to maintain our Council controlled road network and car park facilities to ensure the community’s transportation needs are adequately met and continue to support the growth of our region.
As part of these works, Council will:
- Stage 1 - Thursday 9 April 2026: removal of damaged section of road pavement
- Stage 2 - Friday 10 April 2026: replacement of removed sections with new road pavement
reinstatement of road markings and installation of reflective markers or signage as required.
If you live in or are travelling through the area, you may experience:
- construction machinery and vehicle movement
- increased levels of dust, noise, and vibrations
- temporary traffic changes, including car park section closures, minor traffic delays and reduced speed limits.
