Council will be carrying out work to  extend No Name Road south to Bidwilli Road. The project includes upgrading the Ghost Gum Road and Bidwilli Road intersections to connect with No Name Road, and creating new northern access from DriveIt NQ along Ghost Gum Road to No Name Road.

These works form part of the enabling infrastructure for the Lansdown Eco‑Industrial Precinct and will be delivered by civil contractor BMD Constructions.

These works will include:

  • Applying the final road seal to the existing section of No Name Road.
  • Extending pavement from the existing section of No Name Road south to Bidwilli Road.
  • Constructing new road pavement from DriveIt NQ along Ghost Gum Road to No Name Road.
  • Upgrading the No Name Road / Ghost Gum Road and No Name Road / Bidwilli Road intersections.
  • Installing new culverts and drainage structures to improve stormwater flow.
  • Providing flag lighting at intersections, along with line marking, signage, and fencing.

If you live in or are travelling through the area, you may experience:

  • Construction machinery and vehicle movement.
  • Increased levels of dust, noise, and vibrations.
  • Temporary traffic changes, including lane closures, temporary traffic lights, minor traffic delays and reduced speed limits.
