Ring Road Cleaning Works

Council is undertaking scheduled cleaning works along the Ring Road, starting from the on and off ramps in front of Lavarack Barracks through to the on and off ramps next to the BIG4 Ingenia Holiday Park in Deeragun.

These works form part of Council’s annual Roadworks Program, which aims to maintain our high-traffic road network to ensure it remains safe, meets the community’s transport needs, and continues to support the growth of our region.

As part of this project, Council will:

• undertake detailed cleaning, remove rubbish, and carry out minor road refurbishment works.

If you are travelling through the area, you may experience:

• construction machinery and vehicle movement
• increased levels of dust, noise, and vibrations
• temporary traffic changes, including road closures, minor traffic delays and reduced speed limits
• temporary Ring Road closure from the on/off ramp in front of Lavarack Barracks to the on/off ramps adjacent to the Big4 Ingenia Holiday Park.
