Tarragona Street Roadworks

Council is undertaking roadworks along Tarragona Street between Bamford Lane and Nevada Court, Kirwan.

This project is part of our Council’s annual Roadworks program, which aims to maintain our Council controlled road network to ensure the community’s transportation needs are adequately met and continue to support the growth of our region.

Stage 1 – Thursday 9 April 2026:

As part of Stage 1 of these works, Council will:

• remove damaged sections of road pavement.

Stage 2 – Saturday 11 April 2026:

As part of Stage 2 of these works, Council will:

• replace removed sections with new road pavement
• reinstate road markings and install reflective markers or signage as required.

If you live in or are travelling through the area, you may experience:

• construction machinery and vehicle movement
• increased levels of dust, noise, and vibrations
• temporary traffic changes, including lane closures, minor traffic delays and reduced speed limits
• access will be available for local traffic, please request assistance from onsite traffic controllers.

Council advises that these works will be undertaken at night to reduce the impact on the shopping complex and commuters.
