Reservoir Water Tank 1 Renewal

Council is now in the final stages of planning the delivery of the renewal of Water Tank 1 at the Mount Low Reservoir, including
associated infrastructure works at Euskadi Court, Bushland Beach.

This initiative reflects Council’s commitment to investing $352 million this year to enhance roads, transport infrastructure, parks, and
water systems – ensuring that all properties continue to receive efficient and reliable water service.

As part of this project, Council will:

• renovate the reservoir roof.
• install access ladders and platforms.
• replace pipework.
• reinstate corrosion protection.
• apply a new internal protective coating to the tank.

If you live near or are travelling through the area, you may experience:

• construction machinery and vehicle movement
• increased levels of dust, noise, and vibrations

Council advises that renewal works affect Water Tank 1 only. Water Tank 2 will remain operational and continue servicing residents.
