Project Overview
Townsville City Council continues its focus on water security with a record $214.9 million invested in critical water infrastructure projects over the 2022/23 financial year.
The underground water network across the city requires scheduled upgrades to ensure the continued supply of essential water services to businesses and residents. As part of this major investment the Ingham Road Water Main replacement will take place from 31 March 2023 to December 2023.
This work will include the replacement of the trunk water mains as they have reached their useful life span. Road restrictions and closures along the Ingham Road service road will occur with minor traffic disruptions predicted.
