Sewer Maintenance Hole and Wastewater Pipeline Renewal
Townsville City Council plans to undertake renewal works for sewer maintenance holes in your area.
This project will extend the service life of existing infrastructure and enhance the reliability and efficiency of the city's wastewater network.
Council has appointed Interflow Pty Ltd to carry out this project on our behalf.
To proceed with these works, Council may require access to clean the sewer maintenance hole and the associated wastewater pipeline within and adjacent to your property boundary.
As part of these works, Council will:
- clean sewer maintenance holes and wastewater pipes within your property boundary
- rehabilitate sewer infrastructure
- restore any disturbed area upon completion of the work.
If you live in or are travelling through the area, you may experience:
- construction machinery and vehicle movement
- increased levels of dust, noise, and vibrations
- temporary traffic changes, including lane and road closures, detours, minor traffic delays and reduced speed limits.
Please close your toilet lid and place weights on top as we are undertaking high-pressure cleaning of your wastewater pipeline.
