Riverside Green Open Space Renewal – Stage 2A

Council is continuing the renewal of this open space and is installing a new junior play area, picnic tables, shade structures and landscaping at Riverside Green in Douglas.

This project is part of Council’s commitment to providing parks, sporting fields, recreational areas, and inspirational gardens that enhance the health, wellbeing and enjoyment of our community.

These works will include:

• installation of new junior themed playground, rubber softfall, minor concrete and landscaping works
• installation of new sheltered bench seating and tables
• landscaping including tree planting and irrigation modifications.

If you live in or are travelling through the area, you may experience:

• construction machinery and vehicle movement
• increased levels of dust, noise, and vibrations
• occasional short-term closures of the off-leash parks to accommodate construction activities
• safety fencing, pedestrians and traffic management.
