Roadworks

Council is undertaking roadworks along Payne Street from Partridge Street to Mount Louisa Drive, and along Mount Louisa Drive between Bayswater Road and Glasgow Avenue.

This project is part of Council’s annual Roadworks program, which aims to maintain our Council controlled road network to ensure the community’s transportation needs are adequately met and continue to support the growth of our region.

As part of this project, Council will:

• remove and replace the road pavement with new asphalt
• paint road markings and install reflective markers or signage.

If you live near or are travelling through the area, you may experience:

• construction machinery and vehicle movement
• increased levels of dust, noise, and vibrations
• temporary traffic changes, including lane closures, minor traffic delays and reduced speed limits.

Road resurfacing will be completed first, followed by a brief pause before line marking begins. Construction crews will not always be on-site.
