Roadworks

Council is undertaking roadworks along Waterview Drive and adjoining half of Seagull Streets between Pacific Avenue and the end of Waterview Drive at Bushland Beach.

This project is part of Council’s annual Roadworks program, which aims to maintain our Council controlled road network to ensure the community’s transportation needs are adequately met and continue to support the growth of our region.

The works will include:

• removal and replace the road pavement with new asphalt
• painting road markings and installation of reflective markers or signage.

If you live in or are travelling through the area, you may experience:

• construction machinery and vehicle movement
• increased levels of dust, noise, and vibrations
• temporary traffic changes, including lane closures, minor traffic delays and reduced speed limits.

Road resurfacing will be completed first, followed by a brief pause before line marking begins. Construction crews will not always be on-site.

This project is proudly funded by the Australian Governments Road to Recovery program and delivered in partnership with Council.
