Road Closure

Townsville City Council has secured exclusive rights to host the Wedgwood exhibition, which will be on display at Perc Tucker Regional Gallery from April to August 2025. To mark the occasion, a launch event will take place on Flinders Street, outside the gallery.

As a result, Flinders Street between Stokes and Denham Streets, Townsville City will be closed from 6am on Saturday 5 April, until 3am on Sunday 6 April 2025.

The event will include:

• road closure and detours surrounding Flinders Street
• vehicle movement during set up and bump out of event
• stage with live entertainment
• licensed bar and catering.
