Surveying

Townsville City Council has recently carried out slope stabilisation works along Castle Hill Road. As part of the finalisation process, the contractor will return to the site on Thursday 9 October 2025 to carry out final surveying activities. These works will require a single lane closure. Traffic management will be in place to manage vehicle and pedestrian access.

As part of these works, the contractor will:

• carry out final survey of the site.

If you live in or are travelling through the area, you may experience:

• construction machinery and vehicle movement
• temporary traffic changes, including lane closures, minor traffic delays and reduced speed limits.

A local contractor, Shamrock Civil, is delivering these works on behalf of Council.
