Roadworks

Council is planning to deliver roadworks along Curtin Place between number 3 Curtin Place through to the end of Curtin Place in Douglas.
This project is part of Council’s annual Roadworks program, which aims to maintain our Council controlled road network to ensure the community’s transportation needs are adequately met and continue to support the growth of our region.

The works will include:

• remove and replace the road pavement with new asphalt
• painting road markings and installation of reflective markers or signage

If you live in or are travelling through the area, you may experience:

• construction machinery and vehicle movement
• increased levels of dust, noise, and vibrations
• temporary traffic changes, including lane closures, minor traffic delays and reduced speed limits.
• Council may request residents to relocate vehicles
• Council will notify impacted properties seven days before work begins.

This project is funded by Townsville City Council.
