Roadworks

Council advises that, due to unforeseen circumstances and construction crew unavailability, roadworks along Charles Street, between 214 and 236 Charles Street, Heatley, scheduled for Saturday 9 August, have now been rescheduled as outlined below.

This project is part of Council’s annual Operational Roadworks program, which aims to maintain our Council controlled road network to ensure the community’s transportation needs are adequately met and continue to support the growth of our region.

As part of this project, Council will:

• remove and replace a small section of the road pavement with new asphalt.

If you live in or are travelling through the area, you may experience:

• construction machinery and vehicle movement
• increased levels of dust, noise, and vibrations
• temporary traffic changes, including lane closures, minor traffic delays and reduced speed limits.
