University Road Water Main Leak Repair

A water main leak has been identified on University Road, Annandale, located between Southern Cross Catholic College and Lavarack Barracks.

Council is preparing to undertake repair works on the water main. During this time residents of Wulguru and Stuart may experience lower than usual water pressure.

As part of this project, Council will:

• repair underground water main pipes
• undertake testing and maintenance of associated water infrastructure.

If you live in or are travelling through the area, you may experience:

• reduced water pressure from 8am to 12noon on Tuesday 2 September 2025
• reduction in water pressure across the entire suburban catchment zone of Wulguru and Stuart
• possible temporary traffic changes, including minor traffic delays.

Please advise Council if water interruptions are experienced outside of the works period.
