As part of our strategy to provide sustainable and long-term waste management solutions, we are pleased to provide a range of waste management services to our community, which include:
Free Domestic Green Waste Disposal
It's free to throw your green waste at our transfer stations and landfill all year-round^!
Free Domestic Recycling at all Transfer Stations
We encourage you to recycle the following items at any of our transfer stations for free, year-round^.
- car batteries
- clean metals and cardboard**
- gas bottles (up to 9kg)*
- mixed recyclables from your yellow lid bin
- TVs, computers and printers (up to 20 pieces)**
- used oil (up to 20L).
Free Tip Weekends
Held annually, this Council initiative is a great opportunity to clean up around the house and garden.
Household rubbish and items are accepted at all transfer stations free of charge over the Free Tip Weekend.
Kerbside Collection & Tip Vouchers
Council is giving residents choice and flexibility when disposing of hard waste, with the option of one kerbside collection or two small load tip vouchers, per household, per financial year.

Fortnightly Collection of your Recycling Bin (yellow-lid)
Recycling bins are collected fortnightly.
If you need to dispose of your recyclable waste before your scheduled collection, you can also take it to any of our waste facilities for free.
Weekly Collection of your General Waste Bin (red-lid)
This service accommodates the removal of your general household waste, on a regular weekly basis.

Kerbside Collection & Tip Vouchers Program
Eligible residential properties have the flexibility of choosing between one free kerbside hard waste collection or two free tip vouchers each financial year. Making your choice is easy, apply online at any time.
