Ordinary Council

Council meetings are held at the Council Chambers, Council Administration Building, 103 Walker Street, Townsville and are live streamed on Council’s website.

Council meetings are open to the public unless the Council resolves that the meeting be closed. Members of the public will be excluded from meetings during deliberation of confidential items during a “closed section” of a meeting.

Members of the public who wish to attend a Council Meeting can apply to Council by calling customer service on 13 48 10 to request allocation of a seat for a particular meeting. Limited seating is available, so please contact Customer Service prior to the meeting to confirm availability and reservation of a seat.

Live Streaming

Each month Council live streams its Ordinary Council meeting.

When a live stream is available, a red 'LIVE' button will appear on the left-hand side of the meeting in the 'Current and Upcoming Events' section below. To view the stream, click on the meeting name.
